Loading ...The recent Press statement by the President of the National Association Of Nigerian Students (NANS), Comrade Chinonso Obasi, did not come to us as a surprise. We have always known that Tony Nwoye is desperate to be Governor of Anambra state, by all means, and true to his character, he was ready to go to mischievous lengths, to seek out like minds, who would conspire and collude with him, in the hope of authenticating the fraud committed at the Anambra APC primary election. However, we are shocked that he could condescend to the shameful depth of attempting to drag the good name of NANS into his campaign of infamy.
It has been reported, that nothing is sacred to Nwoye, this time, not even the reputation of the umbrella association of Nigerian Students, that he once headed. This present action of his, as many of his earlier actions, is repulsive and condemnable and we condemn it in the strongest terms, as offensive and repugnant to good conscience. We are however comforted by the statement of the current President of NANS, and we wish to point out to Tony Nwoye and his ilk, that he can’t continue to abuse Nigerian students or continue to enlist the services of some vulnerable students in his unwholesome pursuit of vaulting ambition. We earlier called attention to Nwoye’s plans to use every conceivable mischief to consolidate the fraud he perpetrated at the primary election. We have been exonerated.
This would not be the first time we would call attention to Nwoye’s negative cleverness or his attempts to become smart by half.
The public must recall that we had warned that one of the so-called aspirants in the primary election, Mr. Nonso Madu, was never in the race to contest for anything but was only a willing tool in the hands of Nwoye and an accomplice in the fraud that marred the Anambra APC primary election. Nonso Madu was at all times a stooge and a mere pawn in Tony Nwoye’s chessboard of fraud and intrigues. Nonso Madu still carries a business card which identifies him as Solicitor to the Honourable member representing Anambra East and West in the House of Representatives, which is no one else but Tony Nwoye.
This is the true identity of Nonso Madu, who called the Anambra APC primary election, free and fair. We are yet exonerated, that Nonso Madu was never an aspirant but a carefully planted mole, used to rig the election and now, he is in the second phase of his assignment, which consists of shouting, that the fraudulent election was free and fair and also drumming up support for Nwoye, in the hope, that the APC National Working Committee, would be bamboozled and manipulated by their avalanche of false testimonies and evidence, to confirm and uphold their fraud.
Tony Nwoye’s attitude of do or die and his penchant for using fictitious names to sponsor Press statements, using the names of decent organizations to disseminate falsehood, reveals his extreme desperation to ensure a miscarriage of justice. But our faith in the ability of the APC NWC to see beyond these road blocks of deceit and falsehood, is unshakable.
