The Chief Press Secretary noted that while he appreciates the meditated kindness, goodwill and genuine intention of such groups, he would also like to inform the general public that such accolades should be a testimony and a celebration of work and performance, adding that the people should wait for the work to be completed before rolling out drums.
He further declared that Governor Ikpeazu is determined to chart a new course and a new path for Abia State and this would involve jettisoning certain practices and ceremonies that had constituted huge distraction to governance in the past.
He therefore called on the people of the state to try to discern the signs of times as things have changed.
