A group, Abia Peoples Congress, have accused the former Governor of Abia state, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu of being behind the recent spurious petitions to the Economic and Financial Crimes (EFCC) against Senator Theodore Orji
In a statement signed by its chairman, Ezinwa Ukaogo, the group said Kalu having failed in his wicked campaign of calumny in his Sun newspapers against the senator; has now embarked on another wild goose chase to deceive Nigerians and Abians with his tirades, sponsoring fictitious petitions.
“We refuse to be deceived because we know Kalu for his antics. He is always clutching at straws. The petition should be dismissed because it is borne out of vendetta dismissed the petition as laughable and noted that Senator T A Orji left his footprint in the sands of time. We advice Chief Orji Uzor Kalu to face his present trial by the EFCC and that no amount of his proxy war will detract the good people of Abia state from standing by the truth at all times.
The group challenged Kalu to show evidence of eight rule of Abia state unlike Senator Orji who was identified with numerous legacy projects during his tenure as governor.
