The leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State has suspended a former Secretary to State Government,ย Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Saka Cook Olododoโ from the party for the duration of one year.
An APC member, Alhaji Tunde Saad was also placed on one year suspension.
The other sixteen APC members who were suspended for six months are:ย Mr Mashood Dauda,ย Mr Oba Sulaiman Asudeโ,ย Mr Lukman Adeloyin,ย Alhaji Wahab Tobe,ย Mr Sa’ad Yero,ย Mr Iyanda Olori,ย Alhaji Amuda Bembe,ย Alhaji Amuda Musbau,ย Mr Zafi Saka Adanla,ย Alhaji AbdulRaheem Adanla,ย Alhaji Abdrahaman Sa’ad,ย Alhaji Saliman Rasak (Rasaki Pupa),ย Hon. Raimi Akanji,ย Alhaji Baba Alata,ย Alhaji Raufu Asudeโ andย Mr Fatai Olodoโ.
The suspended eigtheen members areย from Ilorin East local government area of the stateโ.
According to the leadership of the party, the suspension followed the recommendations of anย Investigative and Disciplinary Committee (IDC) chaired by Alhaji Dare Garba which probed the anti-party activities of the affected persons during the 2015 general election.
