6000 Nigerians Deported From Niger After Boko Haram Killed Soldiers In Niger

Nigeria’s Aid Agency- National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA says a total of 6000 Nigerians have been deported from Niger Republic.
The Boko haram terrorits had attaked two Island in Niger and killed over 20 soldiers before all residents in the area, including Nigeriens were requested to leave and be taken to a camp, but Nigerians insisted they want to return home.
 The  Director of Search and Rescue, Air Commodore Charles Otegbade said NEMA received over 3,000 Nigerian deportees from Niger
 “we just received communication from Nigerien government that another set of 3,000 persons are been sent to us bringing to a total of 6000 people.
“We will be going to the border post to take custody of the people.”
Otegbade  said that there are strong indication that the number may rise beyond  6,000, citing inaccurate information being dised out by the Nigerien authorities
 He  revealed that the deportees  are from the following states of Nigeria which include Adamawa,Bauchi, Borno, Benue , Kano, Kebbi, Sokoto ,Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara
