Chief Chris Uba’s PDP campaign train – over the weekend – lambasted Dr Okey Udeh and Chief Ben Nwankwo- the two respective members of the Federal House of Representatives over the dilapidated state of the roads within the Orumba Federal Constituency, for their failure to lift the condition of public infrastructure and quality of life of people of the area after spending so many years at the National Assembly. He regretted working to put them in limelight not knowing they would be burden instead of a blessing to their people

Chief Uba who is the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] Anambra South senatorial candidate for the February 14 election exercise expressed his disgust during a tour of the communities within the Orumba South Local Government Area yesterday.

During the tour, the traditional Rulers’ council of Orumba North and South led by  Igwe Promise Ezeh of Umunze(Abilikete of Umunze), Igwe SC Uchime of Ufuma, Igwe PN Ezeamama of Enugwu-Umuonyia, Igwe MC Okechukwu of Awgbu, Igwe CC Okoli of Ndiokolo, Igwe FO Iyiogwugwu of Ogboji, Igwe KN OFOR of Omoghor, Igwe Clifford Okeke of Nawfija, Igwe IN Onwumelu of Okpeze, Igwe O.O Ude of Ndiowu, Igwe C.O Okeke of Amaokpala, endorsed, adopted  and prayed for Chris Uba’s campaign train. They wished him a resounding success.

Responding, Chief Uba acknowledged the blessings – and took the opportunity to brief the traditional rulers – on why he wants to go to the Senate, that he has a burning desire to work for the people of the constituency.

He noted that Aguata is so strategically positioned in the state’s polity that every administration always come to the area for key officers.

He said he wants to break a record of good public representation in the Senate for the people, hence his choice to visit all the grassroots supporters first hand. He urged them to support and vote massively for the PDP especially President Goodluck Jonathan back to power.

The PDP chieftain solicited their commitment and full support for all PDP candidates in the Feb 14 election so as to record a landslide victory all over the state.
