Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) says it may be forced to drop her non violent approach to the Biafran struggle and bear arms if the Boko Haram insurgents terrorizing Borno, Adamawa, Yobe and other parts of the North East zone attack any town in the South East.

MASSOB’s acting director of Information; Sunny Okereafor who stated this in Aba, Abia state, insisted that Boko Haram was planning to attack some cities in the South East.

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

He called on Ndigbo to be vigilant particularly during this festive period as not to play into the hands of the Boko Haram insurgents, assuring that MASSOB would defend her territory.

“Boko Haram which has been causing havoc in the North East is currently making in-roads towards the southern part of the country. We warn them to steer clear of the South East. We are against the activities of Boko Haram and as such we want to sound this note of warning that if they attack any location in Igbo land, we will leave our non violence stance and face them.”

Okereafor charged Ndigbo to rally round MASSOB which he claimed was the only sure way their lives and property would be protected.

He described MASSOB as a model freedom fighting organization, adding that when Biafra is actualized; there would no longer be violent struggle in Africa as each emerging group would structure its programme towards MASSOB’s non violent posture.
