Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, this afternoon in his office described All Progressives Congress primaries, which his boss, Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha with other four aspirants participated with Maj. Gen. Buhari coming tops, as win win for Nigerians.


He said that All Progressives Congress showed that it has come to inject a a real democratic tradition requisite in the polity for the overall good of Nigerians while praising Gov. who putting up a great campaign, which he said neutralized what seemed a lopsided contest.

He further said that Igbo as it were have sacrificed so much for the country because they strongly believe in one indivisible Nigeria as he wondered the reason for apathy on the on their part. ” What His Excellency, Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha is the fact that in brotherhood we all stand though we may differ in tongues and tribes”.


While commending the leadership of All Progressives Congress especially the Convention Planning Committee led by Dr. Kayode Fayemi, he called on the people to come en mass and vote out a party that has impoverished Nigerians leading them to live below abject poverty line.


He made the statement while addressing his staff, guests, associates and journalists during 12 O’clock traditional afternoon prayers and thanksgiving for a successful sustained presidential campaign and journey mercies.


Prince Madumere who was the campaign Director General  of Owelle Rochas Okorocha campaign organization told his audience that the campaign and consultations with the delegates and other party faithful has further enriched their knowledge of Nigeria’s political culture.


It will be recalled that Owelle Rochas Okorocha had participated in the previous presidential primaries where he did excellently well. One was against Maj. Gen Buhari in 2003 under APP and late Alhaji Musa Yar’Adua in 2007 under PDP where he came second.


He however praised Governor Okorocha for his great effort and his spirit of sportsmanship who believed in fair play.


The Voice African Personality of the year observed that Imo people were glad for the Governor’s return since it is in their best interest for him to consolidate on the good work he is doing in the State. “It is true that His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha went into the race for the bigger interest of the people but most Imolites even prayed against it.


He assured the people that a vote for All Progressives Congress at all levels will provide the necessary security for the future of Nigeria.


” His words, the people of Imo and South East should to vote massively to APC, which has people oriented programmes will provide a leadership to will bring improve the standard of living of the people desired development. I believe that strange happenings like insurgency, impunity and corruption will be fought frontally.”
