In confirmation of his rising profile owing to his admirable character, human relations, management and political savvy, Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, has bagged the “Most Dependable Deputy Governor Award ” in the South East of Nigeria from the Management of News Makers Magazine.
Speaking during the presentation of the Award to Prince Madumere in Imo State Government House recently, Mr. Obinna Sam Ibe, the Editor-in-Chief said it was a meritorious Award, which he said was based on overwhelming votes from the public, which favours Prince Madumere.
Mr. Ibe who described Prince Madumere’s loyalty, humility and dependability as very glaring, he said they conducted a survey was to ascertain the level confidence and trust each Deputy Governor in the South East enjoy from their different Governor bosses. They considered roles and how often they are seen discharging their duties with little or no controversy. Mr. Ibe said it was observed from their survey that Prince Madumere has remained the most functional and visible, which he said is linked to the confidence and trust he enjoys from his boss, Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha.
Continuing, he said Imo Deputy Governor has become a role model to the youth. He averred that over time his strength of character has never been in question establishing consistency of his personality both in his business and political life. He congratulated Prince Madumere for coming out tops.
It will be recalled that Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere was recently recognized as one of the ten most outstanding Deputy Governors in Nigeria by the Nations Newspaper. in the same vein, New Name International Communication Limited, the Publishers of New Name Magazines and New Name Newspapers crowned him the Best Deputy Governor in the South East.
The renowned astute politician and United States trained Management guru has been enjoying accolades from prominent Nigerians for his humility, good sense of decency, loyalty and hard work. Imo State Governor, Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha, his boss, has on many occasions acknowledged him as his beloved son in the public. The former Head of State of Nigeria, Gen. Jack Yakubu Gowon also described him as a man of simplicity and service.
In his response, Prince Madumere thanked the representatives of the News Makers Magazine for the recognition. He however apologized for not putting in appearance on their invitation during their fifth year anniversary. He promised to continue to live up to the expectation of the people as he has become the Ambassador of the Publishing outfit and the Youths in general.
He however gave all the credits to Owelle Rochas Okorocha who gave him the opportunity to serve the people. He showered encomium on Imo State Governor for his love, fatherly role and teachings as he wished him God’s continual protection, wisdom and many more fulfilling years as he continues to contribute his quota in Nigeria Project.
