NEW PRIESTS OF OYO CATHOLIC DIOCESE BEING ORDAINED DURING THE CELEBRATION OF THE
GOLDEN JUBILEE OF THE CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF OYO AT ISEYIN ON FRIDAY (12/4/13).

Dropping the purpose of the early missionaries that brought not only salvation of the soul   to the black race but free health facilities, education among others, a less privileged woman at her earlier thirties, Oluchi Okparaocha who gave birth at Holy Rosary Specialist Hospital and Maternity otherwise known as Waterside Hospital at Onitsha North Local Government Area of Anambra State purely managed by one Reverend Father Stanley Ozigbo has cried to the ears of the Bishop on the Niger, His Grace, Most Reverend Dr. Valerian Okeke to kindly intervene on the infringement on her rights by Reverend Father Ozigbo.

The woman who was pregnant, picked with her 2-year-old little baby boy on the road by a good Nigerian and brought them to a charity organization, (Arrows of God Community Children’s Home at GRA, Onitsha) was said to have under normal delivery, given birth at the said hospital but is at the time of filling this report still been hold hostage in the hospital even after over N13, 000 was paid as her discharge fee by the charity organization according to the lady.

On what led the cat out of the bag, 247ureports.com gathered that Arrows of God Community Children’s Home GRA, Onitsha on the recommendation of the State Ministry for Women Affairs had approached the Catholic Church hospital to assist the less privileged ones in their charity home through medical aids when such need arise, the request that was allegedly granted.

Instead of preaching salvation to the disadvantaged woman through free medical care, the clergy was accused to have held the woman on the excuse that the orphanage home is owing Holy Rosary Specialist Hospital and Maternity other total bills (not of the woman) of N348, 600, Three hundred and forty-eight thousand, six hundred Naira and if this allegation is anything to go by, one ponders what the Church preachers to its members.

Rev. Fr. Stanly Ozigbo accused to have loved money more than the God he preaches was quoted to have told the President/founder of Arrows of God Community Children’s Home, Colonel Deborah Chinwe Ogo (Rtd) that the Church is purely on business even as the man of God allegedly threatened never to release Oluchi Okparaocha until all the bills of the orphanage home owes them are settled.

With the latest development, many people who volunteered comments to this online media outfit under the condition of anonymous has accused the Reverend father of finding way to swindle the woman of her new born baby for onward trafficking or any other reason best known to the clergy.

The anonymous people however appeals to the Bishop on the Niger not to seat and allow money mongers to bring reproach to the Church of God.

Efforts made to reach Rev. Fr. Stanly Ozigbo for comment never yielded any fruit as he refused to pick the calls made across to him but the President/founder of Arrows of God Community Children’s Home, Colonel Deborah Chinwe Ogo (Rtd) confirmed the story as the senior citizen therefore calls on the well to do in the society to assist in giving the new nursing mother said to be starving and thrown out of bed by the hospital management her total freedom
