  1. While we abhor corruption, if these edifices were constructed from corruptly obtained funds, at least the crooks, if the owners are indeed crooks, did not invest their loots in Dubai or Switzerland or the US. Here you can see your money at work. Thousands employed to work on these projects. That is a start of things to come.

  2. Good things are now happening in Imo STATE. I have to go and see things for my self. This is developement in action. More grease to your elbow.

  3. if truely the money were found been siphoned from pubic fund, the elite find guilty must pay dearly for it.
I don’t support corruption no matter who’s involved. when looking at some of those roads pinpointed, all lack quality and looking further u see no competency in the job done. may God hep us all

  4. EZEANA,
YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR HEAD EXAMINED.
HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT THE CORRUPTLY OBTAINED FUNDS HAVE BEEN USED TO INVEST IN NIGERIA.
BY THIS YOUR COMMENT, YOU ARE HEREBY BANNED FROM CONTRIBUTING ON THIS PROGRAMME BECAUSE YOU DONT KNOW YOUR RIGHT FROM YOUR LEFT.
    OKAY

  5. I agree with Ezeana. Unlike the Ohakims, the Igbinedions, and the OUKs, this Imo crook (if true) is investing his loot at home; thereby creating jobs and offering hospitality services to the people of the state and transients alike.Yes, along the way, he is amassing private properties (he must have many wives)

I am inclined to believe that he owns a construction company; in that case, I hope the quality of his company’s work will be better than those of Iwuanyanwu’s Hardel & Enic of yore.

  6. You are indirectly advertising their good works in Imo State. If the 5-star hotel owned by the Ikiri-Ohakim in south Africa was built in Imo, you know the meaning. Again, your inability to tell us how they obtained the money in building the roads and hotels made your picture-story suspicious because you don’t have your facts as a journalist.I’m not in support of corruption in any disguise but tell us how corrupt they are and from which budget they looted to build the hotels. Or were they the persons with the missing N20billion NNPC fund. Please, don’t deceive intelligent people of Imo State.

  7. Sad and shamefaced as I read the comments of these apologists, corruption is corruption and the speaker has no right constructing roads in the state. In an organised society he will go to jail for it. Our mentality has been so abused that we stand up so eagerly to defend corruption by pointing fingers at those who were worse only to justify the rot in the system. If we do not rise up to condemn this nonsense these public officers will never learn.

  8. It is a shame that this sort of thing will still be going on in Imo after the Ohakim administration. Look at Anambra, they seem to have got it right with their choice of Peter Obi who has pedigree. What Rochas and co are doing is manifesting gross incompetence. No plan, no accountability and maximum noise-making. They will all end up in Kirikiri. Thank God that these properties are known to the masses.Indeed IKIRI ka ONYE OCHI nma !

  9. Yes! Keep it up looting it’s your turn perhaps you can do it again come your second and third term nobody will stop anyone silly and idiotic.

  10. Prince Hotel earmarked by IMSG to have been built in Orlu, Speaker Uwajimogu laid foundation of Prince Hotel in Orlu in 2012. Prince Hotel still remains the three blocks which Uwajimogu placed on the site that day in 2012. Uwajimogu’s Imo House of Asembly must have approved the money to have been used to build Prince Hotel. Now Uwajimogu, where is the money your House approved for building Prince Hotel in Orlu? Or did Uwajumogu divert the money for building his private Hotels?
