Emir of Dutse Alhaji Nuhu Muhammad Sunusi commended the senate
president senator David Mark for his disagreeing to sign gay
marriage into law in the country. The emir stated this while receiving
the senate president in his palace before the official commissioning
ceremony of Jigawa state ministry of land office. The Emir was invited by
Governor Sule Lamido as the special guest to commission the 190
office of the glass house in Dutse.

The emir further stated that they are in support of the senate
president action because if such thing were to be allowed to be implemented it
would spoil the habit of the young one in the country.

In his remark the Senate President commended governor Lamido for the
development enacted by the present administration.
He said the airport built by the Lamido administration is one of the best
in the country. He explained further that the airport in Jigawa is far
better than most of the airport constructed by the federal government
in the country.

He explained further that Jigawa state is one of the fastest growing state in
the federation – while urging other governors in the country to
emulate from Jigawa developmentally. He assured that he will inform
the federal government what he saw in the state, adding that it was
a wonderful development.

He commended the Jigawa state government for providing conducive
environment for the staff of the ministries – a situation that will
provide the unique opportunity for civil servant to put their best.
