This is another giant stride from the rescue Government of Owelle Rochas Okorocha to the people of Okigwe Zone, who before now cried of marginalization in the area of locating  higher institutions of learning.

Speaking on the bill, its sponsor, Barr Obinna Okwara, a performing legislator who represents Nkwerre State Constituency urged his colleagues to support the amendment of the bill that is in favour of the Speaker of the House, who has been  passionate about balancing the equation on locating of higher institutions of learning  in the State.

He disclosed that the College has been located at a virgin field instead of the Madonna Science Secondary School as previously approved.

The member for Oru-East, Barr Greg Okemili, supported the bill and called for it to be committed to the committee of the whole house for its passage since there was no dissenting voice.

Both the member for Ideato-South, Hon Chief Ikechukwu Amuka,  and his Ehime counterpart, Hon Kingsley Dimaku,  gave their support to the amendment of the bill. When the Speaker put the bill to vote, it sailed through its second reading.
