IFEANYI EZUGWU, ENUGU.
The Enugu state command of the Nigeria Police Force through its operatives of the anti-kidnapping unit has arrested four persons in connection with the abduction of a five year old boy. The victim was subsequently thrown into an iron water tank after cutting off his head and private part.
The arrested persons in connection with the alleged incident are Chizoba Stephen Nwobodo, aka,Don Mike,John Okonkwo Nwobodo, aka,Chairman,Okafor Jeremiah and Gideon Nwoha, aka,Ndiala, all from Aninri local government area of Enugu state.
It was gathered that little master Promise Osakwe believed to be five year old was reportedly abducted by yet-to-be known persons on 11/10/13 at their home town in Aninri and following the report, the operatives promptly swung into action where the remains was recovered inside an iron water tank.
When the remains was recovered,it was further gathered that the head and the private part have been chopped off.However,intensive investigations by the operatives led to the arrest of the mentioned suspects in connection with the alleged incident and who are now helping the operatives in their investigations.
