We have seen and read the laughable proposition from the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Anambra State that those who discovered an evil plan of criminal nature being hatched in high places, under executive cover, against the electoral will of the people of Anambra State should be arrested, while the culprits should stay off the hook.

This proposition like all other from the same quarters, including very heinous plans from Chief Joe Martins Uzodike, APGA Candidate’s Campaign Director, and Commissioner for finance, ex-chairmanship contestant, all rolled into one cannot in any way be plausible.

By now, Uzodike who is at the centre of this rigging [plan should be on his way to prosecution, just like his candidate who has registered twice on the INEC register of voters and agreed in advance with budding god fathers to part with about N5billion of Anambra State funds ,should his rigging in advance.

We agree with Mr Obienyem that the allegations are weighty and note that all that the police needs to do is to investigate it because all relevant indices leading to hardcore evidence have been provided.

We appreciate the fact that this superfluous statement from Mr Obienyem  has come after 72 long hours of our statement, and the significance is not lost on the least exposed Onye Anambra.

We also need not emphasize the fact that Mr Obienyem has chosen not to react to the fact of gathering of able-bodied young men and sowing Police and NYSC uniforms for them with a view to compromising the electoral process, a fact we wish to stand by.

We therefore restate or cal for a proper and thorough investigation into this matter by the Police, as well as a renewed effort by the Anambra State citizenly to pay attention to all Policemen they would encounter as henceforth, insisting on dealing with only those policemen who wear their numbers on their chest and can explain their deployment at any point.

We also request the Anambra State citizens not to deal with any NYSC member who cannot show his identity card, while reporting any security agencies, any suspicious characters and movements, irrespective of whose name they drop, particularly in the election period.

However we wish to assure Mr Obienyem and his desperate Governor, who by the last count have tried to hoodwink everybody who is anybody in the Anambra State political process to no end that the press statement in which Mr Obienyem is making this bogus call, has not addressed the core allegation.

We have taken the message that Obienyem and his two superiors mentioned in the act has nothing tangible to say and our interest is not the imprisonment of the actors which they qualify for, as much as safeguarding the electoral process which they are polluting with their undemocratic governor, who will stop at nothing to make 16 a majority over 19, as history attests to.

We warn Obienyem that Anambra is bigger than his ambition to be a Commissioner for Information under Obiano, or the ambition of his principal to have a godson as governor installed outside democratic principles.

APC restates its determination to ensure that every man shall vote once in this election and the votes shall count.
