…they would fail

President Goodluck Jonathan has been described as a very peaceful man of destiny who passed through thick an thin to arrive where he is today.

This was the opening line of the Anambra 2014 Governorship candidate, Dr Ifeanyi Ubah last night in Onitsha when he addressed his party supporters who thronged the venue.

He said he has passed through pains, so much pains, that now is time for the people to rise with him to take back our state to develop it. He said he is never in doubt that with his hard work and determination he would be elevated by God to become governor of the state so as to rescue the state. “I therefore urge everyone to join me. As i present this book of roadmap for the development and restoration of the state, and i am ready to defend its 38 pages, page after page. This book is my dream is my dream for the state and i hold it passionately…”

He said that it is their mandate to retore security, job opportunities, sanitation, erosion control, standard and accessible healthcare and a society everyone would be proud of.

The party’s national chairman, Dan Nwanyanwu said his party they oppose the new emerging party/parties because it a gang-up of personalities who have no programme, ideology and direction. He said his party rejected joining the group because LP played key role in the coming of Prsident Goodluck Jonathan.

He said their so-called merger would equally fail because it was fraught with deceit and non-transparency.
