The National leader of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), General Muhammadu Buhari (GMB), has expressed grief at the sudden demise of Senator Pius Ewherido, who, in his lifetime, represented Delta central senatorial district of Delta state in the Nigerian senate.
GMB recalls the industry and legislative genius of the late Senator and was particularly enthused by the passion he demonstrated as a member of the Merger committee for the birth of All Progressives Congress (APC). Indeed, he was a hero in the concerted efforts for the deepening of the Nation’s democracy. This death has come at a critical time when his experience is most needed.
GMB commiserates with the people of the Delta Senatorial district and Delta state as a whole and fervently prays for his immediate family members that are most affected by this irreparable loss. May the Almighty God grant them the grace and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, while also praying for the repose of his gentle soul.
