We the Egbema for Positive Change (EPC) representing the good people of Egbema Ijaws in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State do hereby notify the Federal Government of Nigeria, led by Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan that an unprecedented violent confrontation is imminent in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State.
It is of public knowledge that the obnoxious conditions for this avoidable violent confrontation is been masterfully crafted and orchestrated by nobody else but the despicable Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan,who has vowed a continued accord of slave status on the Egbema Ijaws of Warri North Local Government Area as a conquered people.
We are therefore certain beyond doubts that Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan seeks to pursue and ensure an agenda of chaotic disorder in the Ijaw area of Delta state in a desperate attempt to create security challenges in the Niger Delta Region for the Dr. Goodluck Jonathan presidency, a presidency that he and Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State holds high animosity and contempt as taskmasters and seem determined to dis-stabilize.
We the Egbema for Positive Change (EPC) representing the Egbema Ijaws of Warri North Local Government Area is determined to vehemently resist Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan who is a surrogate for those against the political interest of the Niger Delta People. Except he reverses himself with immediate effect and implement the determined power sharing agreement between the Ijaws and Itsekiris in Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, Delta will be doomed to repeating history of chaos and bloodshed as Emmanuel Uduaghan should be held responsible for sponsoring acts of terrorism against Deltans.
It is worthy to note that in the past six years many of our people have been maimed and killed by Uduaghan using paid and compromised security agents through deliberate acts of mischief criminalization in sustained but unsuccessful attempts to intimidate us and blackmail our just and legitimate struggle.
We are resolved and determined not to be deterred until the tyranny of this modern day Pharaoh is defeated as we seem left with no other option but to resort to self help in response to this Twenty-one year old victimization,dehumanization and marginalization. We hereby emphatically state that this is a struggle that we are ready and willing to lay down our lives for.
We therefore as a people in show of uncommon restraint do make this passionate clarion call on the Federal Government of Nigeria to within fourteen clear days of this publication determine a constructive engagement with a view of ensuring a possible peaceful reconciliation.
We also call on all persons of goodwill committed to the pursuit of Peace,Social Justice and Equity to stand up and be counted. Let this bloodshed be averted. The time to act is Now!
