UGHELLI — Former Deputy President of the Senate and Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) senatorial candidate for Delta Central, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has delivered a terrifying, no-holds-barred ultimatum to political rivals, warning that anyone who attempts to manipulate votes in the upcoming 2027 general elections will pay with their life.

Addressing a fired-up crowd of supporters during a campaign gathering in Delta State, the former APC stalwart turned opposition candidate launched into an unsparing tirade against election riggers, declaring that the era of seeking legal redress after fraudulent polls is completely over.

“No More Court, We Will Fight Back!”

Refusing to mince words, Omo-Agege declared that citizens are now fully prepared to defend their democratic mandates by any means necessary against electoral bandits attempting to steal the future of the state.

“I want to make the news again. Anybody who rigs the election on that day, we will kill him! If you don’t value your life, come and rig the election,” Omo-Agege roared to thundering cheers from the crowd.

“They are rigging your future. They are rigging the future of your children. We are waiting for them! Let them try it. It is rig and die. We are going to give them aura for aura. There is no court this time, we are going to fight!”

Political Tensions Boil Over in Delta State

The fiery declaration comes amid escalating friction between the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the rising opposition movement under the NDC banner across the Niger Delta region.

Omo-Agege’s explosive comments follow recent violent clashes in the state, including an attack on a peaceful political march in Uvwie Local Government Area and recent accusations from his camp alleging threats to his life ahead of the 2027 polls.

While political opponents and government handlers have dismissed Omo-Agege’s apocalyptic rhetoric as a desperate ploy for cheap publicity, the former Senate principal officer insisted that the electorate will no longer sit idly by while political cabals hijack ballot boxes and subvert the popular will.
