ABUJA — Afrobeats music icon David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has taken a swipe at Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo by releasing what appears to be the governor’s West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) result on social media.
The development follows remarks made by Governor Okpebholo during an All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rally in Osun State, where he openly mocked Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke over his penchant for dancing. Okpebholo questioned Adeleke’s governance style, claiming that the Osun governor routinely dances before signing official documents, taking breakfast, or drinking tea.
Responding to the criticism directed at his uncle, Davido shared the document on his Instagram Stories without an accompanying caption.
The circulated certificate, bearing the candidate name Okpebholo Monday, displays a series of pass and weak pass grades across six subjects recorded, including D7 in Commerce, Economics, Christian Religious Knowledge, and English Language, alongside E8 in Government and C5 in Mathematics.
