In what many supporters have described as another demonstration of leadership built on trust, gratitude, and keeping promises, frontline House of Representatives aspirant under the platform of the NDC for Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency, Amb. Ikebunwa Lotanna, today continued his ongoing Thank-You Tour with a special appreciation visit to Peaceful Ladies, one of the major women groups and respected grassroots stakeholders across the constituency.
The event, which took place at Elders Court, Nnewi, brought together members of the women group who came out in large numbers to receive the aspirant and celebrate what many described as an uncommon act of leadership and appreciation.

Speaking during the gathering, Amb. Ikebunwa Lotanna thanked the women for their massive support, encouragement, and commitment during the recently concluded party primaries. He acknowledged the sacrifices they made, their mobilisation efforts, and the confidence they demonstrated in his vision for a better and more inclusive representation.
As part of fulfilling promises made during the campaign period, Amb. Lotanna formally fulfilled his commitment to the group by presenting to them a plot of land at Palms Residence valued at ₦10 million. In addition to this, he also announced a cash support donation of ₦1 million to assist the women group in strengthening and expanding their activities.

According to him, leadership must go beyond making promises and extend into honoring commitments regardless of prevailing circumstances.
He noted that despite the uncertainty surrounding the party primaries and the fact that the party is yet to officially announce the final outcome of the exercise, he considered it important to continue engaging with supporters and fulfilling commitments made to the people.
Amb. Lotanna stated that true leadership is tested not only during victory celebrations but also during periods of uncertainty, stressing that people deserve leaders whose words can be trusted.
Addressing the women, he reaffirmed that his political journey remains rooted in service, appreciation, accountability, and a genuine desire to improve lives across Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo.
Members of Peaceful Ladies, in their response, expressed appreciation for the visit and the fulfilment of the promises made to them. They offered prayers for Amb. Lotanna and prayed for divine favour, wisdom, strength, and success in his political journey and future aspirations.
The women commended what they described as his humility, accessibility, and commitment to maintaining relationships with the grassroots even beyond political activities.
For many observers present at the event, the visit further reinforced Amb. Ikebunwa Lotanna’s growing reputation as a leader who values people, keeps his word, and remains connected to the grassroots.
Supporters noted that gestures like these continue to strengthen the confidence many people have placed in him and further explain the level of goodwill and acceptance he enjoys across the constituency.
As the Thank-You Tour continues across different wards and stakeholder groups, many supporters insist that Amb. Ikebunwa Lotanna’s actions continue to reflect the kind of leadership they desire for Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency.
