Against the trending story that President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and the 24 Governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at a recent visit to Owerri,Imo state capital sealed the grand plot to deliver it’s gubernatorial candidate in Anambra Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has described it as total falsehood contending that both Tinubu and the Governors snubbed Ukachukwu at the visit.
The party further challenged any member of the APC and Ukachukwu Campaign Council to show a video proof of what they claimed to have happened at Owerri and get the sum of N1 million.
Reports had it that as part of President Tinubu’s Presidency visit to Imo state, arrangements had been concluded by the Governors under the instructions of Tinubu to capture Anambra state in the November 8th gubernatorial election.
According to the Coordinator APGA Media Warriors Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe, the only time Ukachukwu and his running mate Uche Ekwunife met Tinubu was when the National Chairman Abulahi Ganduje took them to the Presidency for handling over of the party’s flag and no other time.
“The only time Ukachukwu was opportuned to meet President Tinubu was when Ganduje, the out going National Chairman of APC packaged him to Aso rock for presentation of flag by the President”
“Since after that Aso rock hurriedly packaged event, Ukachukwu has been declared persona non grata in Aso rock”
“The worst part of Ukachukwu predicament is that majority of the APC Governors has distanced themselves from him because they are following President Tinubu body language”
“Yesterday that President Tinubu visited imo State, Ukachukwu went to imo with rented crowd and was snubbed by the President and recall that the same thing happened during the Presidential visit to Anambra state ” he said.
Obigwe threw a challenge on any member of the Ukachukwu’s delegation to Owerri with a video proof of their claims about what happened at Owerri promising a gift prize of N1 million.
“I challenge any of Ukachukwu sycophantic followers to produce video of him having a handshake with President Tinubu in imo State and I will give the person 1million naira”
“With what is happening to Ukachukwu, he already knows that he has lost the November 8th governorship election”
“In Anambra, he cannot win a single vote on November 8th without rigging and his hope of using the President to subvert the democratic will of Anambra electorates is already dashed”
“The body language of President Tinubu for the forthcoming November 8th governorship election is that Anambra electorates votes must be allowed to count” Obigwe stated.
