INEC Registers 96,085 New Voters In Anambra Including Security Risk Communities We Are Vindicated Says APGA

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has announced that a total of ,96,0 85 new elegible voters were registered in Anambra state during the recent Continus Voter Registration exercise in the area.

The Commission further announced that against fears that some security risk Communities may not get registered, towns such as Lilu , Osumoghu Isseke and Mbosi where the unknown gunmen claimed to have been in control also got registered against all odds.

According to the National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee Mr Sam Olumakun

โ€œThe Commission is pleased with the turnout of registrants in Anambra State and the peaceful conduct of the CVR in all the 326 registration centres in the State. As of yesterday, Wednesday 16th July 2025, 96,085 new voters have successfully registered*!in nine days.

“On average, the Commission registered over 10,600 voters per dayโ€”

The Commission further confirmed that the Continuous Voter Registration took place in all the 326 Wards in the State, Including Lilu, Orsumoghu, Isseke, Mbosi and the entire Ihiala LGA hitherto under the control of criminals masquerading as โ€œFreedom fightersโ€.

Reacting to this development the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA Mazi Ejimofor Opara described the report as a vindication of the Gov Charles Soludo fight against insecurity in the state.

“If no one would give Soludo his flowers, those of them from these areas that are risk areas would”

Continuing Opara noted that this development is a credit to the Anambra state Homeland Security Laws made by the state government posting that in the coming elections of August 16th Anambra South Senatorial District by election and the November 8th gubernatorial election would be a hitch free.

” Anambra people are certainly seeing the benefit of the Homeland Security Law, signed into law in 2025 by Gov. Soludo”

“By this development, the coming by election and the November 8th gubernatorial election would certainly be a huge success due to the security architecture put in place by the governor ”

“This is very fascinating and we can only proudly announce that, indeed, Anambra is on the rise”

“This has gone to prove the fifth columnist and the opposition wrong and send them to the cleaners ” he said.

Opara further stated that;

“People who claim to be contesting election are all over the place camping yet they go about criticizing the governor that we do not have security in Anambra state ”
“,We commend the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC for this report and that goes to vindicate the Anambra state government that Anambra state is free of crimes and criminality ” he said.
