An Anambra man who apprehended an owl flying in the late hours of the night has threatened to hand it over to the new security outfit in the state, Agụnechemba (popularly known as Operation Udo Ga-Achi), for investigation.
This is coming amid the ongoing onslaught by Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo against all forms of crimes and criminal idolatry in the state, in the process of which several suspects have been arrested, leading to a significant reduction in crime rates across the state since after the launch of the new security outfit.
In furtherance of that, the man who recently ‘arrested’ an owl flying late in his community has vowed to hand it over to Agụnechemba for proper investigation over suspected witchcraft.
According to the man in a video that has gone viral on social media, the owl was arrested at if flew pass Nkwọ Ichida Market in Ichida, Anaocha Local Government Area of the State.
He revealed that the suspicious air movement of the owl at about 9.PM made him and his neighbours to chase after it, till they eventually ‘arrested’ it.
“Ikwiikwii a ga-erurịrị Awka n’ụtụtụ echi (This owl must reach Awka tomorrow morning),” he said after recounting what happened.
