In a Press statement signed by Igboayaka, who was identified as the leader, on Wednesday Oct 31, revealed that some of the dealers are criminal informants Masterminding illegal activities in Igbo Land.

The statement read in full;

It has come to the knowledge of the Apex Socio-cultural Youth organization of Ndigbo World Wide, Ohanaeze Youth Council(OYC) ably led by Comrade Igboayaka O Igboayaka that the new set of Deadly Kidnapping Informants, Rapist and Criminal elements in Igboland are ” AKPAKARA” Nomadic Agents disguising as those picking waste materials

According to recent intelligence gathered by the Ohanaeze Youth Council’s (OYC) Special Intelligence Directorate (SID), it has been discovered that a group of individuals posing as “AKPAKARA NOMADIC” business operators, comprised predominantly of young men, are allegedly engaging in illicit activities, including kidnapping, rape, and robbery, while roaming in various communities, villages, and farmlands in Alaigbo.

Information revealed that some children who got missing or kidnapped, and their organs harvested are done by the ” AKPAKARA NOMADIC agents, that dresses in a manner of mad people while they hides their guns and weapons of attack under the ” AKPAKARA” waste materials

These notorious criminal groups have extensively mapped out Igbo land, exceeding the familiarity of indigenous residents. They scour villages, communities, and streets for waste iron and plastic materials.

Reports have been flooding in regarding heinous crimes committed by these criminal elements, including rape, theft, and gruesome murders. Specifically, an elderly widow and a young man were slaughtered in Mbaise and Emekuku while attempting to thwart a criminal who had brazenly stolen cooking pots and other iron materials from a backyard.

Reports indicate that Igbo land is experiencing a surge in kidnapping cases, with individuals being abducted from diverse settings such as workplaces, residences, rural areas, and public marketplaces roads, raising concerns about potential involvement of itinerant groups know as ” AKPAKARA NOMADIC” agents masquerading in disguise of picking condemned waste materials like Rods and plastic materials.

Our classic investigations have revealed that 98% of individuals involved in the ‘Akpakara Nomadic’ lifestyle do not hail from Igbo backgrounds or of Igbo extraction, frequently residing in temporary accommodations, remote areas, and incomplete edifices/buildings while engaging in heinous criminal behavior.

“AKPAKARA NOMADIC” thieves will infiltrate newly developed sites, pilfering iron and aluminum materials, and in some cases, vandalizing pillars at isolated locations to steal valuable iron and roofing materials.

We have received a report alleging that aluminum roofing materials from a building located before Aba Branch, Ehime Mbano, and other interior/rural areas have been stolen, purportedly by ” AKPAKARA NOMADIC agents.

The growing presence of the ‘AKPAKARA NOMADIC’ agents in Igboland, associated with illicit activities, demands swift, and decisive intervention/ eradication.

We appeal to Traditional Rulers, Town Union President Generals, and Community Youth Leaders to proactively safeguard their communities by resisting, discouraging the presence of “AKPAKARA NOMADIC” agents. from entering their communities.
