Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has reiterated his administration’s commitment to enhancing the healthcare delivery by providing citizens with accessible services at PHCs and general hospitals in the state.
He made this known when he paid an intensive facility inspection visit to the State Specialist Hospital Bauchi, saying the visit was aimed at assessing the current state of the hospital ahead of the proposed total rehabilitation and upgrade to be embarked by his administration.
The rehabilitation and upgrade when completed according to Mohammed will transform the hospital into a modern healthcare facility, to provide quality services to the people of Bauchi state and the Northeast.
He added that his administration has been prioritizing healthcare development since its inception, recognizing its significance in enhancing the quality of life for citizens.
In another development, Governor Bala inspected the Infectious Disease Control Centre with a call on the management of the hospital to intensify effort for effective service delivery.
He pledged to provide the maximum support in addition to motivating the health workers, acknowledging their contribution and sacrifices to the citizenry.
