Uneasy calm has enveloped afinugwugwu community in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State following the killing of two people by some unknown persons.

He said the sale of the new notes at outrageous amount must have angered some persons in the community leading to their death.
According to the source the old one thousand naira note is exchanged for new one hundred naira note and old thirty thousand naira notes are exchanged for new three thousand naira notes.
The rush to beat the previous deadline of January 31 prompted the sale of the new note at such outrageous rate.
However the president on Sunday approved CBN request for an extension which is now February 10 with another one week grace period of February 17 before the old notes will cease to be legal tender in the country.
