247ureports can authoritatively reports that Governor Abduulahi Umar Ganduje has flawed Senator Ibrahim Shekarau over who controls the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kano.
Shekarau’s G-7 had upper hand at a lower Court in Abuja.
The Sardaunan Kano’s faction had taken legal action over the emergence of Prince Abdullahi Abbas, as the Chairman of APC in Kano.
It could be recalled that last year, at the Sani Abacha Stadium Indoor Sports Hall, elected delegates of the APC indorsed Prince Abbas as the authentic chairman of the ruling party in the ancient commercial city, through a consensus.
However, Shekarau’s faction, fronting Honourable Haruna Danzago, had in a parrelel convention in the tiny community of Janguza, upheld Danzago as the ruling party chairman.
Following the Appeal court judgement, Governor Ganduje has finally become the leader of the party.
In the judgment delivered on Thursday, the Appeal Court insisted that the ,FCT High Court lacks the jurisdiction to sit on the APC ward and local government council congresses which recognised Haruna Ahmadu Danzago as party chairman.
