Sit at home: Spiritual leader advises govs, other stakeholders on what to do

As Monday sit home order issued by members of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).continues across the States Igboland, the spiritual leader of the Igbo nation Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka (Ogilisi Igbo) has advised Igbo States Governors led by Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State to facilitate the evacuation of corpses dumped in various mortuaries across Igboland and at the same time carry out mass burial of the corpses whose relations cannot be reached.

Speaking to Journalists on the forces behind the sit at home order and how to effectively address it, Chief Ezeonwuka observed that the ghost of the corpses at the mortuaries are using the sit at home order to instigate fear on the people and so doing distabilize the mind of the people towards coming out to do their business on Monday even after the leadership of IPOB suspended the order.

The Ogilisi Igbo warned that the sit at home may escalate to daily if urgent steps are talking to address it warning that the forthcoming governroship election in Anambra State may not hold if the corpses in the mortuaries all over Igboland are not removed and buried immediately as according him, their ghost is capable of obstructing the election by making people to be affraid of coming out to vote.

He added “Ndigbo must change their mind set on the way of handling the issue of burial. Our fore fathers buried the dead immediately and then fix funeral later and that is why they lived in peace and enjoyed crime free society and longevity. We have to emulate them for us the present generation to enjoy peace, crime free society and longevity. The muslims and the oriental world are still in tune with the way of the fore fathers as they bury the dead immediately and conduct funeral right away”

He also attributed the menace of negative issues such poor leadership, diseases and sicknesses, crisis in political parties, dirty environment of Onitsha and other places in Igboland plus bad condition of roads and cultism among the youth to the movement of ghosts of dead bodies abandoned in mortuaries adding that time is coming when the entire south east shall be deserted because of ghosts hunt as corpses from North, West and Diaspora are transported and dumped in the mutuaries everyday in Igboland

The Igbo leader advised Southeast governors to as a matter of urgency intervene and collaborate with other relevant stakeholders such as the traditional rulers, religious leaders and community leaders to facilitate the removal and carry out mass burial of the dead bodies in cold rooms across Igboland so that the living can be free from the ghost of dead bodies.
