The sit-at-home order on Thursday by IPOB over a One-day working visit of President Muhammadu Buhari visit toImo state took a different dimension on Thursday.
Reports from different parts of Aguata in Anambda state indicated molestations of people who dared flouting the order.
Some vehicle owners who ventured out were dragged out of theirs vehicles while the enforcers drove out in rapidly.
Also bikes were snatched and those who sold food along the roads had their goods were destroyed.
While some natives hailed their “bravery” others loated the bravado.
There are no clear records of how many people had their vehicles snatched by the people.
IPOB is protesting the continued detention of their leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
In a statement by the Head of Directorate of States of IPOB, Chika Edoziem had directed a total lockdown of the State in solidarity of their leader who is still under the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
