The governorship candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) and traditional priest, Dr. Chief Nnamdi Nwawuo, has implored the candidates of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, to step down for him in the November 6, 2021 governorship election.

He also appealed to the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Andy Uba, and other 16 candidates of various parties in the race to allow him just four years to transform the state socially, economically and politically.

The PRP candidate said that he was seeking their co-operation to serve as a politician who does not make empty promises but sincere and well disposed to tackle the problems of the masses.

According to him, he has stayed most of his time in the state and country, a situation he contended, makes him to know the terrain, areas of needs of communities, the poor and the suffering masses.

Noting that god-fatherism, money and big name of political parties will not affect the results of the governorship election; he said he would deliver the state from stunted growth and insufficient and decayed infrastructure.

Nwamuo predicted a shocking outcome of this year’s governorship election in his favour, stressing: “The result of the election in my favour and that of my party, PRP, will be like a film to the people.”

He disclosed that his administration would make Anambra State look like Dubai of Africa.

“Let my opponents step down for me in the coming governorship election in Anambra State this November. I am pleading to all of them to step down because I am going to serve for four years, not eight years.

“Under my administration, farmers will have a good day in the state. I will enact favourable policy in agriculture and ensure that farmers have access to all necessary incentives, such as seedlings, tractors and soft loan,” he said.
