The Chairman of Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi Foundation Sayyadi Ibrahim Sheikh Dahiru has condemned the attack on
Tijjaniyyah disciples of Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi who are going back to their various houses after attending the annual Jummaat Dhikr and prayers for peace in Bauchi.
Ibrahim said in a statement issued by the Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi Foundation which was distributed to reporters that ” Innalillahi wa Inna Ilayhirrajiuwn from Allah we came to him we shall allreturn ,we heard about the killings of disciples of maulana Sheikh on their way back to their states in far north and Southern part of the country,,we condemned the gruesome murder of innocent Tijjaniyya disciples’
He said “its unfortunate, The victims came from far northern states Kwara ,Kogi , Ekiti abd other southern part of the country they attended the first Islamic Lunar calendar Muharram prayers for peace and Jumnaat dhikr organized by a renowned Islamic Scholar Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi. On their way back home they were blocked and attacked”
Ibrahim said its worrisome the ways innocent citizens of Nigeria in their own country despite the freedom of movement to any part of the country without hindrance ., and freedom of religion its unfortunate that government cannot guarantee the security of innocent citizens traveling to other part of the country peacefully.
Chairman said Nigerians know that disciples of Sheikh Dahiru don’t take laws in their hand we will watch and see what the government will do in order to bring the perpetrators of this dastardly act to justice.
He said all over African continent people knows that Sheikh Organises Dhikr Jummaat and special prayers for peace and stability because of the importance of the month of Almuharram the first month in Islamic Lunar calendar.
Chairman said ” we want justice from the government on this dastardly act , we want Justice , we want government to arrest the killers of our people and bring them to justice. “
He pray to Allah to forgive the deceased and give their families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
During the annual prayers Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi urged government to restore the confidence of the public by protecting lives and properties.
Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi urged Muslims to register since the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC commenced registration ” we want all eligible candidates to register and exercise their civic right in order to vote credible leaders that will developed the country.”
The Scholar urged Muslims to be reciting Hasbunallahu Waniimal Wakiylu 1350 daily to pray to Allah to end kidnappings, armed robbery and other crimes and criminality in the country.
Representative of the Bauchi and Gombe State Governors at the occasion Turaki Mohammed Manga and Alhaji Muhammadu Magaji Commissioner Ministry of Agriculture Gombe State commended the Sheikh for his commitment and steadfastness in prayers which help in bringing peace and development in the country’.
Two Governors pledge their cooperation in doing anything that will bring peace other states and urged Nigriana to emulate Sheikh in his effort to pray for peace unity and development in the country.
You would recalled that 25 people have been killed by Youths in Plateau State after they attended Islamic activities organized by a renowned Islamic Scholar Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi
