Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has inaugurated ‘Ozigbo Vanguard’ support group committed to the success of his campaign for the Nov. 6 governorship election.
Loading ...Ozigbo Vanguard is a support group comprising prominent politicians and seasoned professionals who have pledged their support to the VCO project.
At the meeting held at the VCO Campaign Office in Udoka Estate, Awka, Anambra state, the Convener of Ozigbo Vanguard, Sir Izuchukwu Oraelosi, explained that the group was poised to be an essential part of the VCO Campaign structure and would deploy members to solicit grassroots support for Mr Ozigbo’s candidacy in anambra state governorship election .
“Ozigbo Vanguard will deploy strategies to attract support from the grassroots, student community and demographies that require special attention.
“Our membership is widespread. We have intellectuals, professionals, traders, youths, and students amongst us. We will have an Ozigbo Vanguard representative in every ward and across the over five thousand polling units in Anambra,” he said
Speaking during the meeting,Mr Victor Okpoko, the Director-General of the Ozigbo Vanguard, stated that the group was commitment to ensuring Ozigbo’s victory at the November 6 election.
