Zaar youth appeal to Gov. Bala to recognize Sayawa chiefdom, present staff of office

Various Leaders of Zaar Youth Development Association (Sayawa) nation wide have appealed to Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State to recognize and present staff of office to Gung Zaar select Air Commondor Ishaku Komo as a panacea to peace in the area.

Speaking exclusively in an interview, Sarkin Yara (Head of Youth) of Gung Zaar Chiefdom Kura Kefas Sang said the Governor should wipe away Sayawa tears by actualizing its long over due chiefdom.

He said, “as community we have agreed among ourselves and choose a leader who would lead us. We chose Air Commondor Ishaku Komo because he has all the qualities, skills and experienced that make up of a good leader, his people are behind him, and above all he is humble and loyal to all and sundry”.

He described Air Commondor Komo as a God fearing person who never seek or aspired to lead his people but he was selected because of his past qualities and track records proven beyond doubt that was why he was single out to be Gung Zaar select.

Also, in an interview, the National Youth Leader ZAYODA nation wide Comrade Ga-Allah Daniel said they are in full support of Ishaku Komo to be presented with a staff of office as the first Gung so that they can preserve their culture, custom and tradition.

On his part, Chairman ZAYODA Tafawa Balewa branch Mr.Iliya Emmanuel said lack of a traditional ruler in the area is causing more problems among the people of area and because of that they are in dear need of an independent chiefdom and a ruler who would spared head the affairs the people and take them to promise land.

He pleaded with Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed not to turn deaf ears to their request but instead listen them saying the unity of the people is at stake and they also need peace and development.
