The leadership of the All Progressive Congress, Bauchi Northern Senatorial zone comprises of seven party Local Government has disassociated themselves from the purported suspension of Senator Adamu Mohammed Bulkachuwa.
The leaders described the suspension as “misguided elements who are bent to cause disunity amongst members of the party for their selfish interests.
“Those calling for the suspension and recall of Senator Adamu Mohammed Bulkachuwa, We APC Chairmen of the seven local government areas that made up the Bauchi North Senatorial Zone, we “disassociate ourselves from any form of protest” or recall process against Senator Bulkachuwa.
Addressing newsmen, Alhaji Abbas Turaki, APC Vice Chairman, Bauchi North yesterday, said, “on behalf of the seven LGAs Chairmen, “it is important to note that Senator Adamu Muhammad Bulkachuwa is representing 7 LGAs and 74 wards of Bauchi North Senatorial District, we sincerely write to reaffirm our loyalty and support for the progress of Bauchi North.
“we further learnt that some misguided elements are proposing for a recall of our dear Senator.
“On this, the leadership of the APC hereby disassociate itself from that move and urged our party members to disregard anything connected therewith”, the statement read in part.
The statement also says the party at the state level ” has instructed that no meeting shall be held at any ward or local government level without a written notification to the zonal office”, the statement added.
