Kano state Commissioner of Information, Malam Muhammad Garba has paid a familiarization visit to the Kano State Printing Press
The Commissioner, who expressed satisfaction with the level of development in the printing press promised to provide modern equipment
He called on Commissioners and Head Agencies to patronize the press as it is contained in one of the executive council resolutions during the first tenure of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje administration.
The Commissioner commended the Managing Director of the Press for initiating some renovations and repairs of grounded equipment to make the Printing Press fully functional.
Malam Muhammad Garba stressed the need for the Press to find a way of increasing more revenue to assist the government implement more developmental projects in the state.
Earlier, the Managing Director the State Printing Press, Alhaji Adamu Garba Mustapha expressed delight over the visit and appreciated the achievement of the Commissioner in his first tenure.
The Managing Director briefed the Commissioner on the need for the Press to have modern equipment and assured him of their commitment to support him towards achieving the set goals and objectives.
