SUBEB Sues For Cooperation From State Civil Service Union

Acting Executive Chairman, Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Mr.Matthew Mnyam has sued for healthy relationship between SUBEB Management and leadership of Labour Unions in the State.

The SUBEB Boss made this known when he received State Leadership of Nigeria Civil Service Union (NCSU) in his office.

Mr.Mnyam re-emphasized his determination to improve the quality of basic education in the State by giving due attention to welfare of teachers and staff of the board. He specifically promised to give attention to promotion and normalization of teachers as well as ensure immediate payment of Staff omitted from the payroll after being cleared by the salary verification committee.

He also promised to intensify monitoring in the coming academic session to ensure that the Benue Child gets qualitative Basic Education and solicited support of the Union.

Earlier, the Chairman, Nigeria Civil Service Union (NCSU), Benue State Council, Comrade Ojema Ojotu congratulated Mr. Mnyam on his appointment and described his performance within this short period as excellent.

Comrade Ojotu who recounted achievements of leadership of the Union under his watch to include building of Union Secretariat, cementing Union relationship with government and a host of others called on Mr.Mnyam to look into the payment of arrears of salaries owed Staff and promotion cases.
