Press Release

The tenth seat of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the  House of Representatives in the 2019 National Assembly election has now been confirmed following the affirmation of the victory of APGA candidate yesterday by the Court of Appeal sitting in Makurdi.

In its unanimous verdict  the appeal court directed INEC to issue the certificate of return to Evangelist David Ogewu – the candidate of APGA in the election – to represent Oju/Obi Federal Constituency of Benue State.

This brings to 3 the number of seats won by APGA into the House of Representatives in Benue State alone, and 10 across the federation.

It would be recalled that the APGA candidate won the election with a wide margin but the PDP candidate, Samson Okwu stood as a barrier between him and being issued a certificate of return by INEC.

APGA under Ozonkpu Victor Oye is the fastest growing political party in Nigeria.

APGA is truly ours
