
Lawyer Eyes Dogara’s Seat In Bauchi

A Young and dynamic legal Practitioner Barrister Gashion Daniel Danna has expressed interest to contest the Federal House of Representative seat for Dass , Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro Federal Constituency in Bauchi State 2019, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP a seat which the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara presently occupies.
Danna stated this in Bauchi after he submitted his intent form at the Secretariat of PDP in Bauchi. He said “I took this bold decision for the massive support I get from my constituency for the past two years I have visited all wards and nooks and crannies in my constituency to meet with my people, and I am in the race because of the numerous calls from my people asking me to contest for the seat due to my humility competence and zeal and ability to deliver by representing the constituents very well.”
Aspirant expressed confident that he will win the seat and seek support of the party, delegates and all electorates to enable him win the Party Primaries and the election – so he will continue from where his predecessors stopped.
He said “presently I am doing some groundwork like meeting with the constituents and planning with my team. I am convinced that I will win the elections in 2019. There is no doubt about it, on the Issue of my elder brother Dogara, the people of our constituency knows that this seat use to rotate, Dass represented us in the past, then Tafawa Balewa we gave the chance to Bogoro where Dogara represented us three consecutive times and we feel in our own collective interest and brotherhood the people of Bogoro will also understand that its now our time they should support us and I believe they will support me in the interest of brother hood”
State PDP Chairman Alhaji Hamza Akoshe Akuyam who was represented by state Vice Chairman Alhaji Haruna Musa Shitu pledged to be fair and just to all aspirants and warned them against defecting to other Political parties if they didn’t win the Primary election.
