Madumere’s Impeachment: Okorocha Should Listen To Imo People – Ejiogu
Former Secretary to the Government of Imo State and a major Governorship contender, Sir Jude Ejiogu has called on Governor Rochas Okorocha to listen to Imo people who have continued to condemn the move to impeach his Deputy, Prince Eze Madumere, saying that if truly he values those he is leading, he should not hesitate to call House members to order against the move.
Ejiogu made this call in Owerri while answering questions from newsmen, he maintained that following the move by members of the Imo State House of Assembly to remove the Deputy Governor from office, the media have been awash against the plan, appealing to those involved in the unholy act to desist for the good of APC in the state.
According to Sir Ejiogu, Imo APC does not need further distraction or any act capable of destroying the peace and unity been enjoyed so far, and charged every well-meaning individual to rise and sue for peace.
He further maintained that impeaching the Deputy Governor is not good for both the state and the ruling party as it stands, and stressed the need for everyone to remain united for the development of Imo State at large.
