The governor of the Central Bank of Turkey Murat Çetinkaya stated that if President Recep Tayyip Erdogan orders to impose economic sanctions on the Kurdistan region of Iraq, we would be fully prepared to issue a directive to all banks in Turkey to block all assets and liabilities of the Kurdish authorities and corporations and prohibit any interactions with them.
