The National Coordinator of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Media Warriors Forum Mr. Chinedu Obigwe yesterday carpeted the Governorship candidate of All Progressive Party (APC) Mr. Tony Nwoye and Anambra APC leaders for allegedly attacking and condemning the Southeast governors decision to proscribe IPOB activities in the region.
He said that they should bury their heads in shame over igbo ‘s marginalization by APC led Federal government in Nigeria that is responsible for Biafra actualization agitation.
Obigwe who spoke with newsmen in Onitsha said that the condemnation of Southeast governors decision to ban IPOB in the region by Anambra APC is a politically motivated which was a face saving measures that was dead on arrival.
He wondered why did Anambra APC maintained sealed lips when APC led Federal government military launched operation python dance with massive deployment of Soldiers to the region.
The Forum Coordinator further asked why did Anambra APC maintain sealed lips when APC led Federal government made crucial appointments in NNPC without deeming it necessary to include an igbo man in the appointment and advised Anambra APC to first of all condemn the move by the Attorney General of the Federation to institute legal action for the legitimisation of their declaration of IPOB as a terror group.
Obigwe referred to IPOB ban in Southeast by the governors of the region as a political decision that is needed to douse tension in the region, saying that no leader will take pleasure in watching the people he is governing being killed. He also stated that the ban on IPOB by Southeast governors is a political master stroke that has achieved it’s purpose in the region.
He further said that Governor Obiano deserves commendation as the only Southeast Governor that deemed it necessary to honour Biafra fallen heroes with a befitting burial, saying that Anambra APC are day dreamers that will remain in their dreamers till after the declaration of Governor Obiano as the winner of the November 18 governorship election.
He however referred to Governor Obiano’s good works in Anambra State as a good works that markets itself and that the people of the State will reelect him for a merited second term because of their satisfaction with his good works in the State.
