UPP has nothing to offer. Like Agbaso and his co-impostors they plan to cause disaffection among our people using IPOB as a pawn on the chessboard. Our people are wiser now. Only yesterday IPOB took the sail of their ship  by withdrawing their threat of no election in Anambra State. The sons of Anak you see today you will see no more soon“, says the national chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance [APGA], Chief Victor Oye following the conclusion of the UPP primaries in Awka where the former aviation minister, Chief Chidoka Osita emerged as the party’s flag bearer for the November 18, 2017 gubernatorial election.

Chief Oye’s comments comes as the UPP re-branded its manifesto to adopt self determination and referendum into its program. The national chairman of APGA points to the hypocrisy behind the sudden change in manifesto. According to him, the leadership of the UPP are taking the people of Anambra for a ride.

Chief Oye had just emerged victorious from a battle of survival waged by Martin Agbaso and his followers who had wanted to take control of the APGA leadership and to halt the emergence of Governor Willie Obiano as the gubernatorial candidate of the APGA. But failed.

Oye is confident that Obiano will defeat Chidoka and others to win the election come November. “Chidoka has nothing to campaign on, Obiano has a good record that speaks for itself“.
