Information reaching 247ureports.com indicates that all might not be well inside the camps of the security apparatus stationed in Anambra State. This is as the combined forces of the Nigerian police and the Nigerian military forces staged an overwhelming presence at the town of Ekwulobia in Anambra south senatorial district ahead of the scheduled visit of the leader of Indigenous Peoples Of Biafra [IPOB], Comrade Nnamdi Kanu.

Available information indicates that the police officers and the military personnel had descended at the town of Ekwulobia were Nnamdi Kanu was scheduled to visit and spread the evangelism of Biafra. The Nigeria security team were reported to have closed all the open spaces in Ekwulobia and had closed the stadium and the school football fields. The closure was done today’s morning. Eyewitnesses who spoke to 247ureports.com relayed that Ekwulobia and surrounding communities were put into panic and anxiety. “Everywhere is tension. We don’t know what is happening. Soldiers and mobile police are everywhere”, said a young trader from Oko, a neighboring town to Ekwulobia.

Interestingly, as the members of IPOB began assembling in their numbers, the Nigerian security personnel began disappearing into the surrounding structures. And as the numbers of IPOB members grew larger into the thousands, the stern-looking Nigerian security forces disappeared. Without announcement, the security forces disappeared, said a source at the market place in Ekwulobia.
