Apostle Chukwusom Okoli, founder of New Covenant Ministries, Nnobi, Anambra State, has thrown challenge to witches, wizards, occultists and spiritualists all over the world for a spiritual contest.
Okoli wants to re-enact the feat of Prophet Elijah in Mount Carmel where he threw challenge to the prophets of Baal to determine whether God or Baal was supreme.
He said for a long time now a lot of people believe in occultism charms, witchcraft, wizardry and all sorts of satanic manipulations instead of believing in the Almighty God.
Apostle Okoli said he wants this time to determine who was supreme: God or all those witches, occultists and all their likes.
“I want to assert which way is the way of life. Then, there is need for contest to determine who is supreme. It will take place between 12 noon and 1 pm on December 25, 2016 at Gospel city, Nnobi, Anambra State. All these groups should come together against the apostle of Christ from 12 noon they can do everything to bring down the Apostle of Christ. After their own, the Apostle should do his own to bring down the power of God” he said.
Okoli who said this challenge has gone into internet and social media involves all parts of the universe: India, United States of America, Europe, China among others asserting, “There must be a clear demarcation of who is Supreme Being. It is not going to be a joke” he said
He said there were those already killing Christians all over the world, stressing those people were already challenging the authority of God.
The Apostle said God prepared him for this by putting him in different occult groups since 1954, when God took him to a West African country to learn Arabic and Islamic religion which afforded him the opportunity to come face to face with occult men.
He also at a time joined the Ancient Mystical Order Rossue Crucis (AMORC), which God later brought him out.
“I have gone a long way into mysteries of life. God was pitting me into secret society for at least two years each for a purpose. There is no truth in all secret societies and occult groups” he said.
Apostle Okoli took swipe at Igbo nation for making the name of almighty God non-effect, saying that evil spirits have possessed lot of things they do.
“We take orders from devil. Igbo’s are used to obeying shrines. You can see a professor sitting in front of idols, yet they made Igbos to believe they are serving almighty God. The issue of Christianity has been muddled up. Most bishops, general overseers, pastors, two-third of people who claim to be Christians may not be Christians at all” said the Apostle.
