Consider Women and Children Victims of Boko Haram as pet Project – Rep tells Aisha Buhari

A member of the House of Representatives, Hon, Asabe Vilita Bashir has urged wife of the President, Hajia Aisha Buhari to consider the  women and children victims of boko haram insurgency as the pinnacle of her pet project.
Speaking to reporters in Abuja on Monday , Vilita who represent, Gwoza, Chibok and Damboa Federal constituency ‎from Borno State says Women and Children in the north east region  have suffered untold hardship as a result of the  ongoing war against the Boko Haram militants
According to her, some  of the women have been abused by the insurgents ‎while many others are now rendered  widows and many children  children orphans.
The federal legislature whose home town, Gwoza was once declared as the caliphate of the terrorists when sized by the  boko haram group  believes that the special intervention  of Nigeria first lady would go a long way to rehabilitating and reintergrating the women and childre whose numbers have continue to swell in different  camps across  the troubled north east region.
” I am optimistic that the wife of the president special intervention in our women and children who are victims of boko haram insurgency would give the women and children a new lease of life. I must admit that both the Borno  state and the federal goverment have been doing their best but as a Woman I believe that it would be heartwarming if the wife of the President pays special attention to these  victims of Boko Haram.
” I know the wife of the President to be a very caring mother and someone who will go all the way to  alleviate the suffering of other women ; I believe she will come to the aid women and children who are  boko Haram victims ” Villita said.
Hon Vilita who is currently working on a bill to ensure all girl Child are taken off the streets in the north, particularly the north east region stressed that ‎goverment at all levels in the north must pay spcial attention to the girl child education.
” enough is enough, the gilrl child shouldn’t be seen halwking during school hours, we must all do the needfull now by ensuring that they are all in school else it potends serious danger to the progress of the north and Nigeria in general.
” all school  aged children especially the girl child must be be encouraged to go to school; that is the best legacy we as leaders and parents can bestowed to our children ” Vilita said.
The federal lawmaker revealed that she is already ‎embarked on a camping within her constituency to enlighten the women folk on the need to send thier girl child to school and discourage them from hawking.
She disclosed that   poverty ‎alleviation materials are already being giving to less privileged women and Children within her constituency. She called on well meaning Nigerian to contribute their widows might to alleviate the sufferings of women and children in the north east.
