Abia Speaker Unveils Ikpeazu’s Commissioner- Nominees

Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Martin Azubuike has unveiled the Commissioner –nominees sent to the House by Gov.Okezie Ikpeazu.

 

Making the list public at the House plenary, the Speaker urged the nominees to send copies of their profiles to the House on Monday, October 19, 2015 and set up a 5- member adhoc committee headed by the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Cosmas Ndukwe, which will submit its report in a week’s time.

 

The Commissioner –nominees are ;  Barr Uzor Azubuike, Mr Boni Iwuoha , Mr Obinna Oriaku, Hon Eziuche Ubani , Chief Stanley Eche, Chief Henry Ikoh, Chief Tony Ezebuiro, Chief Chinwe Nwanganga, Barr. Chima Mgbeke, Barr. Haglar Okorie, and Barr. Gabriel Igboko.

 

Others include; Chinedum Brown, Chief Charles Ogbonnaya, Barr Nnenna Obewu, Barr. Uche Ihediwa, Dr John Ahukanna Prof. Ikechi Mgboji ,Hon Osita Igbe and  Ebo Iheukwumere.

 

247ureports.com gathered that most of the nominees are former political office holders , including Barr. Uzo Azubuike and Hon. Eziuche Ubani, who failed in their return bid to the House of Representatives. Others are the Economic Adviser to the governor, Obinna Oriaku; former Commissioner for Environment, Chief Chinwe Nwanganga and former Assembly member and Media Director of the Ikpeazu Campaign Organization, Osita Igbe.
