Senator of the Kogi West Senatorial District, Dino Melaye, seen to have seen the handwriting boldly at the wall over the petition by Senator Smart Adeyemi, challenging his election.
Melaye has however, seems to have withdrawn his support for the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, as he has ran back to the APC national Secretariat to seek for help.
The controversial lawmaker on were seen on Thursday sneaking into the party house at the Blantyre street, wuse 2, Abuja with a small car not known of him.
Observation by our reporter showed that both the security men and other staff of the party were shocked to see the lawmaker coming out of the car.
Melaye, who was unaware of the Buhari ceremony of Chief John Oyegun’s younger brother in Benin that day was seen going from one office to another but did get any attention.
Sources at the party Secretariat however, told our reporter that Mr. Dino has come to beg the party leaders and ask for their help in winning the case.
The source said Mr. Dino did not have option because it has been revealed at the tribunal by one Mr. Feinti Dada, who was the first witness called by Senator Smart Adeyemi, the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the
election, he was not a product of primary election before he contested the election.
It was said further that Dino Malaye’s support for Senator Bukola Saraki, as senate President will hunt him, adding that the party was ready to testify again Mr. Malaye that he was not actually the product of the primary conducted.
