PRESS STATEMENT
SECURITY ALERT
The plot by some misguided miscreants to wreck havoc on the State by attacking key Government and public institutions has been brought to the attention of the Akwa Ibom State Government.
Accordingly, the general public is hereby advised to be on the look-out for any suspicious movements or activities that may breach the peace and report same to law enforcement agents without delay.
The state Government hereby warns the sponsors and those who are recruited to embark on this sinister plot with a view to breach public peace and tranquilty  and create a state of anarchy in the state, that, the security agencies have been put on red alert and are ready to apprehend, deal decisively with and prosecute anyone that violates the law.
All law abiding citizens are advised to go about their legitimate duties without fear of molestation as Government is alive to her responsibility of safe guarding lives and property of the citizenry.
