“Mal-Administration Has Been Nigeria’s Problem” – Kano State Gov Elect

The Kano state governor elect, Dr. Abubakar Ganduje says in
mal-administration has been the problem of Nigeria – the lack of
continuity in project.
According to him, it is wrong to abandon project initiated by a governor
and starting new ones.
Dr. Ganduje was  speaking in a chat with newsmen Saturday evening
shortly after attending the convocation ceremony of his daughter
Fatima Umar Abdullahi Ganduje who graduated as a holder of a degree in
the Bachelor of Arts International and Comparative Politics at the
American University of Nigeria , yola the Adamawa state capital.
He noted that it was wrong to abandoned one project only to move on
to create another.
The Governor elect in waiting told newsmen that he was deputy to
Engineer Rabiu Kwankwaso in 1999 and having lost thereafter after the
first tenure they had then gone on sabbatical and God willing they came
back as a formidable team and have been together since then.
Kwankwaso he says set, planned and executed projects with him adding
however that the economy of the country dwindled and slowed their
progress.
Dr. Ganduje assured the people of Kano state that he plans to
continue with the jobs already started and will complete same.
Such areas will include value of land, property and look out on other
revenue basic and by blocking leakages ‘we shall optimize what we
have’
He also appears not to think much of becoming chairman of the
governor’s forum despite polling the highest number of votes in the
last electron,
